Sheet 03 · Books

Shipped goods becomeinvoices, and the books follow.

Invoice what shipped, at the price of the work order it came from. Receivables, payments and the ledger are updated by the same step.

Invoicing

Priced where the price lives.

A converter often ships goods from several work orders on one invoice.

  1. 01
    Combined invoices

Each packing slip is priced at its own work order's price, unless you type one price for all.

  2. 02
    Seconds at the seconds price

Yards of second quality are billed at the seconds price, on the invoice and on the printout.

  3. 03
    Factor assignment sheets

Prepare the assignment sheet for your factor from the invoices you choose.

  4. 04
    Credit memos, chargebacks and returns

Record them against the invoice. Voiding or waiving keeps the record and reverses the entry.

The ledger

Receivables you can read in a minute.

Every posting goes to a chart of accounts that is built in.

  1. 01
    Open receivables by age

See who owes what, and how late, on one report.

  2. 02
    Payments

Take a payment, and take one back if it was entered wrong. The history stays.

  3. 03
    Journal and trial balance

Every entry is listed, and the trial balance foots because the entries do.

  4. 04
    Nothing posted twice

The same event cannot post twice, even if a button is pressed twice.
